RESTYLANE FILLERS
Dermal fillers are one of the most popular cosmetic procedures performed every year, with over a million procedures performed annually in the United States. Restylane was the first filler composed of HA approved by the FDA for use in the United States. It is commonly used to treat signs of aging, including wrinkles, fine lines, deep folds, and creases. Restylane fillers last much longer than Botox, boasting results that last an average of 12 months.
SCULPTRA AESTHETIC FILLERS
Sculptra aesthetic fillers are a form of derma filler that is used to smooth out deep wrinkles and restore lost volume through the natural aging process. It has been FDA-approved for use on the face to reverse the loss of volume and fullness, in addition to being used for filling in and smoothing out wrinkles. Sculptra is made of a biocompatible synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, or PLLA for short, as compared to a hyaluronic acid like some other fillers. Both PLLA and hyaluronic acid will break down and be absorbed by the body over time, so they are naturally processed and eliminated.
MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment that is used to treat minor to major skin concerns via collagen production. Collagen production is also known as induction therapy, this treatment can help patients looking to reduce the appearance of acne scars and stretch marks. Used in certain anti-aging procedures, micro-needling is used for procedures such as eyelid surgery and sunspots. Microneedling is not effective for treatments like hair loss, regardless of the possible role of collagen in hair growth.
